Kenny Phan

Kenny Phan is a Sydney-based artist that seeks to create works of art relating to inner feelings and create a small narrative in each artwork he makes. Focusing on the imagination of mind and the spirit of the subjective, he seeks to express a sense of the subconscious and to further dive into the depths of imagination. Influences from the surrealist works of paintings he encountered throughout his life and growing up with cartoons, comics and graphic novels, he uses the form of painting to combine the graphic style of drawing into another medium.

Kenny has completed a BFA at National Art School in 2019 and had participated in two group exhibitions so far as part of his academic curriculum. He also had one solo exhibition in 2022 entitled Nu Imago and one group exhibition at Pari as part of Mixed Business 4.
